Sharing by Security Roles

It would be great if the sharing feature was based on security roles rather than just the two options currently available.
Example: Submittals
Trades / Vendors only need to see the submittals assigned to them so the current setting works great!
The Design Team needs to see all submittals. If you utlize packages to assign 'items' to the design team when ready for review, you must also assign their responsibility at the individual submittal level or the submittal package appears empty. Then instead of a single notification, they get several for the single package containing multiple items.
The ability to designate the design team to see All Submittals would be the preferred setting here, but doing that in the current format means we also open it to the Trades/Vendors who only need to see their own.
