Allow submittal package reviewer to access included Submittals even if submittals are not assigned
In our environent the designer has access to submittals and submittal packages. If a submittal package is assigned to the designer he/she can't access the associated submittals without us assigning the submittals also. This results in the designer having all the submittals and the packages listed in the assignment list.
This is redunant in terms of data entry and potentially confusing to the designer.
Ideally the security settings would allow us to remove access to the submittal section for the designer. The designer should only access submittals in his court through the package as it includes all the associated submittals required to complete the review.
Please change the security options so that it is sufficient to have access to assigned submittals if the user has access to the submittal package.
Alternatively it would help if the option to allow access to all company records for submittals was available for specific security roles.
