Create a FORMS module in ProjectSight

Project Sight needs a FORMS module, that allows admins to upload company template forms, by embedding writable PDF files that can be filled out as individual records. This process can be completed currently in ViewPoint Teams and needs to be included in ProjectSight to help users go paperless in the field and automate the process of archiving these documents. Users should be able to (blue plus sign) create a new form, select which form they want to fill out, fill out the writable PDF form, enter any required “user defined fields” outside of the PDF, save, and close out. The idea then is that all forms are saved into a database by project. Searchable by template type, date range, creator of document, UDF’s, etc. when the record is selected, a user can view, download, print or email the PDF. These forms would also be available and live in Trimble Connect.

Another option is just allow users to make edits to writable pdf's that are attached to checklist item comments. Unfortunately, it lets you edit the writable PDF attached to the checklist comment, but does not save the edit after closing out of it.

This is critical component especially as it pertains to the daily report tool. Currently the tool does not allow for any customizable entries or prompts and basically allows for automatic weather data, miscellaneous notes and slow uploading of photos. As a site reporting tool, this needs some major improvements to enable customizable prompts for critical data collection on individual trades, safety inspections, site meetings, issues/incidents, general progress, deliveries, mock-ups, delays, etc.
