Can we improve the button click efficiency of adding contacts from Multiple Distribution lists.

Can we improve the efficiency of adding Assignees or CCs on records from multiple distribution lists? Currently if you are adding folks from a distribution list you cannot just keep your selections and add contacts from another list in the same pop up window. Currently you have to select (which closes the pop up window), and then go back into the pop up windows to add additional contacts from another Distribution list. Client would like the option to not have to go in, go out and back in just to add users from 2 different distribution lists for a record.
