When sending a transmittal, it is emailed to the correct party. I slide the acknowledgement requirement button. However, there is no follow up after compared to the RFIs or submittals with the assigned to function with the checkmark. I suggest to have this as a function for the transmittal as well. This is because when you are sending a document and need a signature/acknowledgement. The recieving party can follow up and see it as an action required on ProjectSight. This is because then the recieving party does not need to rely on reading through all their emails and it is common most owner project managers do not read all their emails.
Dear Viewpoint Suggestion Box contributor;
We at Viewpoint sincerely thank you for your contribution to Suggestion Box on how we can improve Viewpoint products. While we can’t do everything at once, we rely upon your feedback to help guide the prioritization of our product improvements, and Suggestion Box is a critical tool for us to understand and prioritize our customers’ needs.
Viewpoint reviews Suggestion Box regularly for all of our products and updates statuses, adds comments, and performs various house-keeping (including deleting) as needed to ensure that Suggestion Box is maintained as a productive environment for product enhancements requests.

Absolutely- there should be a simple process for a transmittal recipient to acknowledge receipt of the transmittal. The sender should be able to identify the person(s) who must acknowledge receipt, and nobody else except those designated people should be able to acknowledge receipt of the transmittal in their place.
For example, I should be able to assign Joe to have to acknowledge the receipt of a transmittal. Nobody else except Joe should be able to mark that Joe received it. If sent to other people, they should have the option to acknowledge the receipt of the transmittal, but nobody else except Joe should be able to acknowledge that Joe received it.
