Option to Clear Open Assignments when a records workflow status is changing to a locked status.

When a workflow status is changed and a record is locked, if an open assignment is not completed the assignment is locked as pending. Either have the ability to close assignments and/or have the option for the system to send a reminder for the "Assigned To" that they have an open assignment to close and the record is ready to be locked. Then the "Assigned To " can clear assignment and the program can let the person requesting the item know that it is cleared and they can now lock the record. Or preferably it can automatically change the status that the person was trying to change and lock the record and just notify them that it is completed.
