Link Status to answer/resolution

Would like the ability to link a Status (Workflow) value to the Answer/Resolution of the record. Similar to how ProjectSight currently functions by automatically switching from Draft to Open when a user is Assigned, we'd like the ability to set another Status/Workflow value (for example, "Closed" or "Returned") to link to Answer/Resolution.
