Daily Report for each Profile/User
Hi,
I would like to propose a feature enhancement to ProjectSight that extends the "Daily Reports" functionality currently available to site Foremen to all user profiles.
This feature, akin to a "Daily Log," would enable each user to document their observations, activities, and insights during site visits or other project-related interactions.
Construction projects typically involve multiple personnel—each with unique perspectives and responsibilities—who contribute valuable information that supports decision-making, coordination, and analytics.
By allowing all users to record their daily events in a centralized and accessible format, this feature would improve communication across the site team, streamline preparation for site visits, and provide a richer dataset for project analysis.
Moreover, visiting personnel could leverage these logs for insights and updates, ensuring they remain informed and well-prepared. Expanding this capability would align with the collaborative nature of construction projects and add significant value to the platform.
I support this feature. I notice you already say you closed/implemented one, but we need multiple Daily Reports, not multiple comment options within one report, which is what was implemented.
The current functionality of ProjectSight would allow for this in the existing daily report feature, as long as you allow permissions on each of the Security Roles. I could see value in some type of connected sub-report that feeds the main daily.
