More detail to be added in comments by ProjectSight consultants/dev team, but the general idea here is to have cost tracked in the Daily and run through the system to the BCM module, to hit the budget and be able to invoice off of it. This would apply to both browser and mobile (ideally the field entry in mobile would capture the associated cost code for the labor or material used/installed that day).
We have the ability to add cost code custom fields in the daily to report against, but then we would have to use that report as a reference to manually enter into BCM module to show completed work. We are looking to automate this.
This is particularly important for contractors with self-perform divisions, but also for any GC if they are allowing subs to enter labor and material in the daily, they would like that data to flow through to cost module if approved.
Having the labor track to automatically track to the budget is a must for an overall report of the project.
"seeing it" in the daily is great but it doesn't integrate with anything else in the system.
Ability to push back to Vista/Spectrum for billing.
