Equipment Installation Tracking / Prefunctionl Checks

Hi Folks!

First off, great product! I've used your original Prolog and I am enjoying the new ProjectSight.

Just want to propose an idea. Not sure if you're already working on it or not.

In our industry, one activity that takes place is capturing Equipment data and tracking the installation progress throughout the project cycle. Moreover, we do these PreFunctional and Functional checks for our Commissioning process.

Could it be an option to implement a Tile (See attached pic1) that is similar to the Nonconformance tile and the Punch List tile that would be dedicated to equipment tracking?

So there would be the ability via the drawing to pin a geotag and then create an "Equipment check" record (similar to adding a punch item) that gives us the ability to

a) Confirm the equipment is in the correct location

b) Enter data in fields (see pic2 sample) such as Model number, Unit I.D., Serial number,

c) Track the installation. This could be done by updating the changes through the comment section which would then provide a history for each piece of equipment

d) Also if an issue is identified from the check we would have the ability to create/link Punch Item or Nonconformance.

If you're open to discussing more I would be able to provide more information. Commissioning of equipment is a big part of the construction process and the ability to track within ProjectSight would be a huge benefit.
