Project Level Crew Manipulation

Currently crews can be permanently edited from a portfolio level and temporarily edited on a daily report. There are trade partners that work for the same controlling contractor on multiple projects with differing crew stipulations.

Allowing the superintendent/foreman to view and edit the crew information for their company on the project level would allow project security settings to be withheld without giving the superintendent/foreman the ability to edit portfolio information.

    Also from the client:

In the Daily Report module, a single Crew can only be assigned to one activity for the day. This is a significant constraint since we have different cost codes per each activity, and different crews will actually work on multiple activities on a given day. What we are having to do is manually type duplicate crews to assign multiple activities, which is very time consuming. The “Copy” function helps save some time, but we still find ourselves manually manipulating the entries frequently in order to meet our needs.

I should note, we are also having to manually input personnel into different crews due to the constraint that a single worker can only be assigned to one crew. If these 2 constraints can somehow be lifted, it would solve our issue. A single contact entry, i.e. worker, being allowed to be assigned to multiple crews or activities, or if crews can be assigned to multiple “labor” activity entries.
