Provide a Submittal Package feature like the one in Prolog and Procore
What are we trying to accomplish?
Provide the ability to create and manage ProjectSight Submittal Packages in a manner like Prolog.
How is the lack of functionality affecting us?
a. Client has invested a significant amount of time and effort to train Architects, Engineers and Owners in the use of Prolog Submittal Packages. The lack of this feature in ProjectSight means that these entities must be retrained.
b. Each Submittal Register item must be treated individually. On a large project, this may double or triple the amount of work involved in routing, reviewing and approving submittals.
Suggested implementation:
Develop a Submittal Package feature like the one in Prolog and Procore.
Describe any workarounds?
Client will have to develop a process by which multiple items (previously individual Prolog Submittal Register items) are assigned to one ProjectSight Submittal Register item. We expect this will be difficult, require a significant effort for every project and create confusion among project team members.
