Why is it useful?
The ability to flatten posted RFIs will allow users to navigate sheets and select hyperlinks that may be underneath an annotation. For instance, if a user clouds over a wall that has a link to a section cut, i currently can not select that hyperlink to that section cut if the cloud encompasses the hyperlink. As a side note, it is not ideal to allow all users to modify public annotations.
Who would benefit from it?
All users will benefit.
How should It work?
There should be an option to flatten all annotations and lock from editing. Hyperlinks should remain unaffected. Would require some back-end work to allow for annotations to unflatten and re-flatten when slip-sheeting new drawing sets.
