Crew Setup hours calculation improvement for clarity
Enhancement description: In the Crew tab of a Company record the Hours per Day should be modifiable and not locked out. If the Start and End time isn't specified, the calculation is confusing. Modifying the 'Default hours', which acts as a sort of daily total, it divides by the number of users assigned to the crew. Most companies add users on the fly and would have to modify the Default Hours every time a user is added in order for it to calculate properly.
What are we trying to accomplish? Make adding crew hours less complicated if the start/end times aren't specified.
How is the lack of functionality affecting us? Most companies don't know that they are missing the start/end time in the Crew setup, and when they start adding users to the crew their hours per day start to decline. They don't know that this calculation is happening where the default hours is being divided by the number of crew members.
Suggested implementation: Either have a default start/end time (Required field) or allow users to specify the Hours Per Day.
Describe any workarounds? Set the start and end time to add up to 8 hours, then when members are added the daily hours per crew member stay the same.
