Enhancement description:
For drawings OCR should be performed on the entire sheet, and everything should be indexed and searchable. A user should be able to search and find any work that appears on any sheet, titles AND text box. Currently, when you perform the drawing keyword search on the drawing summary screen it DOES search text box but when you select a sheet, none of the keyword searches on that sheet appear and are not highlighted.
What is the customer trying to accomplish?
Would like our users to be able to search and find matches throughout the drawing documents, including text within text box. You CAN search on the drawing summary, and it filters/includes the drawings that have that keyword in the text box but once you select/open the sheet it shows NO results found and you have to scroll through the entire page to locate the keyword within the text box that it found.
How is the lack of functionality affecting their business?
We are having trouble finding keyword references within text boxes without having to scroll and search each individual page.
Suggested implementation:
For drawings OCR should be performed on the entire sheet, and everything should be indexed and searchable, including the text box once the drawing is open and highlighted.
Workaround:
Currently, we are performing keyword search at drawing summary screen (where all sheets are listed) which will filter and include the keyword search, including items within text box. Once you open the individual sheet, it notes no results found. We then have to navigate to the "comments" section and perform yet another keyword search for it to tell us which textbox the key word was located in.
