It would be valuable for many users to have a sidebar, like the one on the project dashboard, but at the portfolio level that displays their Assignments grouped by project. This would eliminate the need to open each individual project to see what is assigned to a specific user. Additionally, an overall count of assignments (for all users) requiring action would be helpful for the person managing the project. Ideally with the ability to click and expand to view all items needing attention in one place.
