App Xchange Flow Error - Schedule of Value Notes exceed 500 characters

Can the App Xchange sync from Vista to Project Sight be changed to truncate the Schedule of value notes after 500 characters and complete the sync rather than error out and not sync? We have to go back into the Vista Contract and remove notes in order to get project to sync. The notes remain in Vista so we have a record of them. Or can you make it optional to sync notes to Project Sight?
