Automated Daily Report Distribution

Overview:
To streamline communication and ensure critical project updates are shared efficiently, I propose adding an Automated Daily Report Distribution feature. This feature (widely seen in leading platforms such as Procore) will allow the system to automatically recognize when a daily report has been marked as completed, generate a PDF version of the report, and distribute it to a designated distribution list via email.

How It Works:

  • Once a daily report is submitted, the system will:

    1. Automatically generate a PDF version of the report.

    2. Email the PDF to all team members included on the distribution list configured within the program.

Benefits:

  1. Improved Communication: Critical project updates are shared in real-time with all relevant parties.

  2. Time Savings: Eliminates manual steps for report generation and email distribution.

  3. Accountability: Ensures team members are promptly informed, creating a clear record of daily activities.

  4. Consistency: Standardized reporting improves clarity and aligns with professional expectations.
