The submittal module in its current configuration is difficult to navigate when it come to the workflow of a submittal. There needs to be clear roles that can be assigned to "submitters, reviewers & approvers" just like Viewpoint Team. Please have the submittals that are returned from the architect populate in the "assignments" window on the dashboard, rather than having to rely on an email notification alerting that status of a submittal has been changed. As as GC it would be more beneficial if the submittal process identical to Viewpoint Team.
I could not agree with this more. Additionally, having to log items as the resolution (or in this case approved docs) instead of the approval/rejection from the design team of a submittal acting as the resolution seem redundant. The Viewpoint Team submittal process was much easier to assign and work through the process of submitting, approval, and sharing the submittals throughout a project.
