Substitution Request Module
Some projects have requirements for "Substitution Request" which may not be made via RFI or Submittal per specifications. We would like to have a "Substitution Request" module within Document control that can house these requests and have the ability to link the Specification which the substitution would be amending or deviating from. The Module could function the same as the Submittal Module. In the interim we had been using the Transmittals but its messy and doesn't allow for conversation back and forth. The current Submittal Module also does not provide a way to easily delineate a "Submittal" from a "Substitution Request" and has differing documentation requirements. This would be a beneficial change across the board so that all changes/deviations are in one place and recorded accurately so that they are not lost throughout changes in the project and can be linked with Spec's so its not forgotten.
