Submittal Package & Submittal Transmittals
GC, Clients & Consultants (Architects & Engineers: would benefit. 1st Issue - the submittal package detail reports does not have a column with the description only the subject. 2nd - The Submittal Package does not have the ability to upload a package you must open a submittal items and add he package or break the package up to add each item individually. There should be a tab to add package for review complete if you want to. 3rd - If you try to create a transmittal from the package, you must go to the comments tab and add a link. The link will allow you to create a Transmittal, but no information from the linked submittal package is added. Then if you fill out the transmittal and send it via email to anyone they can only open the link to see the package. There is no way to provide the doc for review without a log on and account. From my experience most architects, engineers and owners do not want to learn our software they want the information. The solution would be to create a submittal transmittal from the Submittal package that you could then attach a doc to for review. One additional report to help people who have clients and consultants that do not wan to collaborate in ProjectSight.
