Punch List Drawing Link Thumbnails
Enhancement description:
The drawing thumbnail on Punch List Reports should be zoomed-in to show the area where the punch item was placed.
What are we trying to accomplish?
Show on the printed report where exactly the punch item is located.
How is the lack of functionality affecting the business?
On a printed report (which is often used in the field), tiny drawing thumbnails showing the entire sheet are included. I understand these are linked in the PDF version, which is great, but in the field, a lot of the workers that are fixing the issues do not have computers or tablets and require a printed version to work from. A printed report showing exactly where the item was tagged on the drawing helps those workers to easily identify the area they need to work on.
Suggested implementation:
When linking a punch list item to a drawing, show a zoomed-in thumbnail of the plan with the punch list marker in the exact location of the issue.
Viewing the Drawing in ProjectSight, the Punch pin is in the proper position where it was created.
In the mobile app, the punchlist has a pin in the thumbnail, but it is on the bottom left, not where the punch item was created.
Running the report, there is a thumbnail, but no pin.
All of these thumbnails need to show the pin in the proper location where it was created (the way it shows on the Drawing itself.)
