Add the option to print the current zoomed-in view or to select a section of a drawing when printing a drawing.
What are we trying to accomplish?
Print only the area we need from a drawing either to paper or PDF instead of the entire sheet. This is useful for marking up and attaching to an RFI or printing specific details for field users.
How is the lack of functionality affecting the business?
We spend more time getting what we need by downloading the drawing and printing only what we need via Bluebeam.
Suggested implementation:
A. When a user zooms to a specific area on a drawing and hits print, print only the visible area.
or
B. Give the user the option to select a specific region of the drawing when they go to print the drawing.
