Include Linked Drawings with Printed Reports
Enhancement description:
When printing a document (such as an RFI), include the linked drawings in the PDF or print, not just the thumbnail link.
What are we trying to accomplish?
We want a one-click print to PDF that includes all linked files and drawings.
How is the lack of functionality affecting the business?
The alternative is a multi-step process of printing the RFI, and then downloading each linked drawing.
Suggested implementation:
When drawings are linked to an RFI (or any other record), they should show in the linked files tab on the report printing dialog box. When viewing/downloading to PDF or printing to paper, the full-size drawings should be included in the PDF or print.
I know this has been marked as "Likely to Implement", but I was hoping to get a more detail update regarding this happening. It's been brought up again by our design team members, and the current process is very time-consuming. Would love to see this change made soon.
