Customizable Email Notifications
Enhancement description:
Allow companies to customize the layout of email notifications.
What are we trying to accomplish?
Customize the subject & body, add logo. Full control over look of the email sent by the system.
How is the lack of functionality affecting the business?
Emails are lost in the shuffle because the project name is listed last. The body of the emails could look a lot better.
Suggested implementation:
* Select from a list of available fields to add to subject and body
* Customize order of subject fields and separator(s)
* Merge templates for body of emails by record type

Make the emails look like Trimble Unity Construct emails. They are much cleaner and formatted much better. Or just make them customizable like the idea suggests
Notifications should have an option to include a 'signature' block with the ability to add a persons contact info and company logo, similar to a standard email signature.
Agreed! It would be great to add the "location" field when issuing the email for punch items so team members know where to start.
We would like to be able to customize which fields print in the body of the email for each record type. We use custom fields on most of our records and having that field display in the email is crucial so they don't have to open the record.
This is most important for closing a Submittal or an RFI as we only send notifications for the Closed status and not every status change.
Email title just shows RFI number which is not helpful for persons in charge to understand if they are responsible for the submittal or not. → suggested to add Subject info in the email title as well.
This is super important to have. We don't bring in all our subcontractors to ProjectSight and so we simply cannot utilize notifications. No matter how many times we tell them the report is attached to the email we got dozens of calls everyday by people who are ticked off that they can't access ProjectSight when they have received an email. We need the email to say "See attached record" FIRST, then "if you have access to ProjectSIght open this record in ProjectSight here". Or something like that. Notifications would be brilliant to use but we simply can't with the current language.
