Creating new records as annotations from within linked drawing records (inside other records)

Scenario: In a Daily Report, user links a drawing in the notes/comments area. They

then click on the linked drawing and want to drop a new Issue on the

drawing (while still in the DR).

When they cloud the area, the annotation tool only allows linking to an existing issue, not creating a new issue.

Instead of staying in the record they're working on, the DR, they have

to leave and go to the Drawings module to get the Issue created as an annotation on the drawing. Granted you're able to create an Issue from the DR just within the comments area and not on a linked drawing, but the use case is when the user desires it shown on the drawing and would like to do so while they're right there from the linked drawing record. It should then show on the original/current drawing in the drawings module as well.

This is "as designed" from what we know, with concern about links within links within links breaking, but there is a use case here worth considering.

Recording has been sent through support - the same happens after the drawing is sent in the comments (it wasn't sent yet in the recording). It appears this happens from any record (not limited to daily reports), and linking to any record (not limited to Issues). However, client team is currently using Punch Items and more detail is available on that as needed
