Add SMS Capabilities into Mobile App

Let's face it, there are certain users that you need to communicate with on your project that will not even use email, won't install an app or even log into your application. We still need to communicate key details to these users and SMS is the biggest way. Some are also using WhatsApp.


If we could add a way to create Group/Individual SMS inside of the PS App, it can send these users a text so they read and respond in whichever SMS app they currently use on their phone (so nothing needs to change for the end user). That response would sync back to the SMS group in ProjectSight. This allows us to track these by project instead of relying in data on a cellphone that only that one user sees.

There are products out there that allows companies to do this inside of O365 Power Platform and MS Teams, so seems this might be something to harness inside of Trimble.

This is the last piece of missing data that is crucial for construction for those that just will not change.
