Deep Linking to Drawings & Mobile Assignment
Issue:
Field personnel primarily use mobile devices and the ProjectSight app while on site. They are often the ones reviewing drawings and effectively “assigning” them to other team members for action. However:
The mobile app does not include the Drawing Sets module.
The Drawings module does not support assigning users to drawings.
Email notifications open in a mobile browser and only link to the general drawing set, not the specific sheet.
As a result, field users cannot assign or reassign drawings from the app and must switch to the browser version to complete the workflow. This creates unnecessary friction and slows field coordination.
Requested Enhancements:
Allow user assignment/reassignment directly within the Drawings module, including in the mobile app.
Enable deep linking so email notifications open directly in the app and navigate to the specific drawing sheet.
This enhancement would better align ProjectSight with how field teams actually operate.
