We receive our drawings from the Architect and for some residential buildings, they use the same drawing when the floors are identical. This means you will have Sheet Number A300 with Sheet Name "5th-12th floor Building A" as an example.
When we use the new AI Upload, the drawing is created with sheet A300 and we cannot change it. When doing Punch Items, we cannot add punch items for 8 different floors onto 1 drawing so we need to be able to upload that same pdf with 8 sheet numbers.
After it's uploaded the first time, we can only change the Sheet Name, Location and Discipline but not the Sheet Number. We can only do that if we use the old Drawing Sets upload. We are trying to enforce consistency to our users so we want to remove the Drawing Sets module but then must use it for things we can't do with the new Upload.
This is quite common in residential and hotels. We would need to add A300.5, A300.6, A300.7 etc for each floor to use with Punch Items. We'd add a new discipline to separate them, but we can't edit the Sheet Number if added using the New Upload.
