Change step due date for next step before submitting it

Right now the step due date for the next step you are submitting for cannot be changed until you submit it. It can then be changed once it is submitted, but the issue that causes is the notification that goes out has the original step due date, so they are not seeing what the new due date is until they go in. If the step due date is shortened after it is submitted, they may not go in until after it is now past due because of the original notification due date.

If there is a field that says next step due date that can be changed before submitting, then the notification when submitted should show the correct new due date. Not all items may fit within the step due dates that are set up on the workflow itself when created.
