Change Project Status from Portfolio List

Description:
When viewing the list of projects within a portfolio, it would be very helpful to be able to change a project’s status (e.g., Active, On Hold, Complete, etc.) directly from the portfolio view.

Current Limitation:
At present, changing a project’s status requires opening each individual project, navigating to its settings, and updating the status one at a time. This can be time-consuming when managing a large number of projects.

Proposed Improvement:
Allow users to update a project’s status directly from the portfolio project list—either via a dropdown, inline edit, or bulk update option.

Benefit:

  • Saves time when managing multiple projects

  • Improves portfolio-level workflow efficiency

  • Reduces repetitive navigation into individual projects

  • Attach files
