Pre-Assign Users in a workflow prior to sending the submittal.

The Ball in Court is a step in the right direction, but it is not complete. It still lacks the ability to assign the tasks / roles to people. Yes you could create a new workflow for each submittal for each job, but that is a lot of extra work. Procore allow you to create or use a workflow template and then assign the users at the submittal level. i.e. The engineer is always the same, but each submittal might have a different submitter. The current method still requires an excessive amount of babysitting the submittal through its cycle.

Please View Procore support site to see how they are crushing this. The use only need create one template and then assign the users for each submittal, vs setting up a template for each submittal. To add a default assignee to a step
1. In the Assignees section, select an option.
  - Users
  - Distribution lists
  - Workflow role
  - Disciplines (RFIs only)
  - Record contacts such as authors and company contacts
Note: The distribution list, workflow role, and discipline options are displayed if the related lookup lists contain any entries.
