Required Resolution and Assignment Completion

Trimble ProjectSight allows records to be closed without requiring a documented resolution or completion of all associated assignments, leading to incomplete information, unfinished tasks, and potential compliance risks. We propose implementing a mandatory validation that prevents a record from being moved to a "Closed" state unless its resolution field is populated and all assignment checkboxes are marked complete. This enhancement will significantly improve accountability, data quality, and reduce rework by ensuring all necessary steps are taken before closure.

    Setup a workflow status for Closed and limit the permissions for that workflow step to management.
