Easily navigate from one file to another in the file library

When we upload progress photos in the file library, why can't we view the next photo by clicking on the left/right arrows like we would in the Photos folder? Since Photos is not yet available for the iPad and mobile apps, our field personnel are uploading photos through Trimble Connect/File Library.
