We just had a situation where the weather station we were configured to pull weather from stopped existing without warning. This was a silent failure and our daily reports stopped auto-creating and populating weather.
Would be great if the system gave admins a warning/error whenever a configured station stops existing. Would also be great if the Weather Station configuration section of the Daily Report record showed that a selected weather station was invalid through a UI element. When we went to triage the issue our old weather station name still showed as selected (an valid).
Better would be self-healing automatic alternative selection of the next closest station (as well as a notice)
