Need to add Team Member as Contact Only that is Project Specific

We need the ability to add team members to the project directory as a contact only so the user/company will be visible to the drop down lists for Daily Reports. Not all external users will be invited to ProjectSight but just need them to be listed as a contact like it used to be on the home dashboard project team members. Now we cannot add them as a contact from project to project if that user was already granted a security role from another project.
