Allow repositioning of linked object labels on drawings
When linking a submittal (or other record) to an existing markup on a drawing, the system automatically places a label (e.g., “S 224000-7.0”) that is anchored to the markup. The issue is that the label placement is fixed and cannot be moved or resized. This leads to overlapping text on detailed drawings, obstructing important plan information.
We are requesting the ability to reposition or resize the label independently of the markup object it’s linked to. The markup location should remain fixed, but the label should be draggable or configurable to avoid conflicts with other drawing elements.
Business Value: This change would significantly improve clarity when working with dense or technical drawings, especially on projects with heavy documentation and markups.
