Fix resizing of shapes and overlapping shapes

It is impossible to draw shapes on top of one another, you must move your cursor off an existing shape to add a line, shape or cloud on top of it. This is frustrating. The workaround is to draw a shape off to the side then drag it into position. This has one big problem, it does not work for very small shapes using the rectangle shape. When a small rectangle is drawn, when you drag to reposition it, it will automatically resize to some larger shape that is probably the "allowed minimum".
