We require an additional OCR function while uploading drawings to identify the actual revision number A,B,C or 1,2,3

Our index printed from PS shows the revision of its upload and not the current drawing revision. This extra OCR function would be able to enable us to add this correct information to our drawing Index.

This is really one of the most important features for my group. Is there any action on this?

Indeed, when OCR formatting drawings while creating a drawing set, there is no OCR box highlighting tool for the drawing revision. Only revision date.

Industry standard is that drawings and documents in the Bid Phase (IFB) are revised with alphabet characters indexed from A. When Issued For Construction (IFC), revisions change to numeric integers indexed from 0. The revision character is much more important than the revision date.

There is no option to add custom labeled OCR fields, and it does not work if I game the system and highlight the revision character with one of the preset OCR fields (Rev. Date, Number, Title, Discipline). Nor can I rename the Rev. Date OCR field to a custom name with a different data type.
