Register of all notifications (email's) that have occurred on a project

I observed in another collaboration platform a feature that presents in a grid all notifications (emails) that have occurred on a project regardless of where they were initiated from. I could see this being a very helpful feature in providing a view of overall communications between stakeholders. There was also extensive filter capability in the form of notifications (email's) initiated by a particular user (contact), company, document type, document number, etc,.
