Remove the category suffix from individual budget codes so that all cost categories can be tracked under a single code
We would like to see the category suffix removed from individual cost codes and for all cost categories to be represented and/or tracked within each single cost code. For example, we would like the ability to budget and track costs for an item such as 'demolition', without having to create 3 separate codes for budget and tracking of direct labour, material and/or sub-contractor costs for that one item. The categories are still important but should be built into the cost codes themselves, so that each code can include budget amounts for labour, material, subtrades and general requirements without having to create separate codes for each one.
