Allow Joins on Main Crystal Report versus requiring Subreports

This one is causing me some confusion as I've been using Crystal Reports for more than 15 years and it doesn't work in ProjectSight.

The basic functionality of Crystal is to add tables then if you need more fields but they're in a different table, you add the table and join the fields between the tables. This doesn't work in ProjectSight.

As an example the Contracts XSD has the Company Name and Address (Address doesn't currently work) and we need the telephone form the company to print on our contracts. Instead of simply linking the Contacts XSD to the Contracts, we have to create a subreport, add the telephone field to it, then link the 2 reports using the field that we would have used to join the tables directly.

If ProjectSight can understand joining between 2 subreports, why not within 2 XSDs on the same main report?

Thank you for the suggestion. We will investigate to see if this is possible.
