Need Separate Numbering Per Contract Type

We need each Contract Type (Subcontract, Purchase Order, Owner Contract) to have their own numbering sequences. If we create 2 Subcontracts, then someone creates another type, our next Subcontract is out of sequence and now our Subcontract log looks like we're missing one.
