Automatically update portfolios in production when template portfolio is changed

As an Enterprise Company we are using multiple portfolios for our multiple subsidiaries. We create these portfolios from a template portfolio, our company standard.
But right now, when we change the template portfolio we have to update all portfolios in production with the same changes. This is time consuming and sensitive to errors.
Please, make it possible to automate this process of updating portfolios when the template portfolio changes.
