A solutions to migrate large file structures from Dropbox, OneDrive, SharePoint or other systems for new implementations is very important. The man-hours required to migrate for a large contractor (GC or Sub) can add up and set a bad first impression to the product.
Features to ease initial migration/implementation pays dividends when building new customer buy-in.
Trimble Connect can be utilized but to my knowledge you are only able to upload a single file at a time, you cannot download an entire structured local server file to Trimble Connect, being able to do this and be able to to sync back and forth simultaneously to the local folder would be a game changer especially when an estimator or project manager is trying to set up a new job in the system, it would make everyone's lives more efficient and that way a document does not get missed being moved into the system.
There is the ability to sync to different folders on your local drive or a network drive via Trimble Connect and the use of the Connect Sync application.
