Preloading Records into Specification Set Module or Copy Records via Create From Project Template

Is it Possible to Preload Specification Sets with each new Project Created?

We have 32 Preamble Specifications (multipage PDF Files) that are included with each project created.

These Preamble Specifications currently have to be individually uploaded to the Specification Sets in order to uniquely name each file so that it's organized correctly in the spec list.

These 32 Preamble Specifications rarely change from project to project and are basically a template file that is added to our spec reports.

PROPOSED PREFERRED SOLUTION:

1. Ability to save and store these preamble specifications within the file library.
2. The file library allows for revision tracking, to ensure that the most current version is accessible (while having the historical documents to compare against).
3. The files stored within the Specification Sets folder are selectable as a toggle on/off setting when creating a project from a project template, that copies the files from the template project to the new project.

PROPOSED WORKAROUND SOLUTION:

1. Ability to save and store these preamble specifications within the file library.
2. The file library allows for revision tracking, to ensure that the most current version is accessible (while having the historical documents to compare against).
3. Ability to create a Specification Set from files stored within the File Folders.
4. Ability to select Specification Set records within Project A and copy them to Project B

Ideally we would see a great amount of time savings if we can have the specifications and submittals start from the template project. And ideally we could operate with multiple template projects so that we can create based upon repetitive type of projects.
