We at Viewpoint sincerely thank you for your contribution to Suggestion Box on how we can improve Viewpoint products. While we can’t do everything at once, we rely upon your feedback to help guide the prioritization of our product improvements, and Suggestion Box is a critical tool for us to understand and prioritize our customers’ needs.
Viewpoint reviews Suggestion Box regularly for all of our products and updates statuses, adds comments, and performs various house-keeping (including deleting) as needed to ensure that Suggestion Box is maintained as a productive environment for product enhancements requests.

By not having this feature we are having to "manage" all Submittals, RFIs and more in Excel as we need to add notes on a Submittal throughout its approval and can't have everyone on the Submittal seeing these. The only way to add notes on a Submittal is to comment, but everyone gets a notification and sees them.
It should be like what's on a Daily Report where you can click on Notes, it time stamps it with a user name and a memo field. You can add multiple. That section should be secured by Security Role so we can hide it from all of our external roles. This would not send notifications.
Ability to enter and view internal comments will be controlled by security role settings. Business impact: Ability to streamline internal comments while keeping all correspondence within the system and make part of the permanent record. Users of the system have identified this as a significant impediment to system adoption. This enhancement would also allow internal comments to be suppressed on reports.
