Email Files Directly to Folders

Since much correspondence is done with emails, many with attachments, it would be good if you could forward emails directly to file folders within Project Sight, similar to One Note. Currently, I have to print email cover sheet and attachment, combine them with blue beam, save temporarily to my hard drive, then upload to a folder in Project Sight. This can be very time consuming.

    This has been implemented.

We would like the ability to create a shared email address for a project then set that user up as a user in ProjectSight (so access can be controlled) so as a default, any email forwarded to that Trimble ID would upload the attachments to a designated folder.

As a more automated workflow going forward, tags could be used on the email which could be read then designate a particular folder.

The email would hit the Transmittals and Correspondence module, tagged by a Type, which would then copy the attachments into that folder.
