Custom Default Report Naming
Enhancement description:
Allow admins to define report naming conventions for downloaded & emailed reports for all records.
What are we trying to accomplish?
Customize and/or simplify the naming of downloaded or emailed files.
How is the lack of functionality affecting the business?
Some records, (SCOs for example) have confusing naming structures and require a lot of editing before downloading or emailing records. This step could be eliminated if admins could customize this in record settings.
Suggested implementation:
Add a file name setting (for each report) to Portfolio Settings > Record Settings > {Record Type} > Reports. Allow admins to (optionally) customize the name of downloaded or attached reports using strings and variables.
Totally Agreement with Brendan's reasons, except I would just like to simplify the naming for files. Just just the acronym in lieu of the long for of the name, i.e.: PCO, COR, PCCO, RFI, etc. When the title in in the file name with the description it make the file name very long, especially when the description is long.
