Many reasons why this would be helpful.

(1) For executive level to see overall metrics on all projects

(2) For PMs to see overall metrics on their projects

(3) If a large project needs to be broken into separate projects, for legal purposes, budgetary purposes (maybe the owner wants to see all change orders as a separate budget entirely), or long-term phasing
